For a full-color LED display, LED as its most critical components, its quality plays an important role in the LED display. LED display uses large number LEDs per square meter, LEDs directly determine the performance, color saturation and sharpness of full-color LED display.

Full-color LED display brightness

LED brightness determines full color LEDscreen brightness, the use of higher current, the LED brightness is higher. Also, LED have different angle, in the same chip size, the smaller view angle, the higher brightness, but the display’s viewing angle generally is 100 degrees -110 degrees, to ensure LED screen sufficient angle.

The failure rate of LED screen

LED display is composed by thousands or even hundreds of thousands of red, green, and blue LED components. Usually failure rate is less than 1/10,000 after 72 hours aging test.

The light attenuation of LED display

LED brightness will slowly decay along with long-term use, the attenuation is related with LED chip, auxiliary materials, packaging technology and so on. In general, after 1000 hours aging on 20 mA at normal temperature, the red LED attenuation should be less than 7%, blue and green LED decay should be less than 10%. The RGB light decay consistency has great influence on future white balance, thereby affecting the fidelity of the display screen.

LED display antistatic ability

Since LED is semiconductor devices, it’s sensitive to static electricity and can easily fail by static, so the anti-static ability is essential for the lifespan of LED Display.

Esdlumen release a indoor fixed front-maintenance LED display

   19th, Feb.2014, Esdlumen LED display new products conference was held in showroom. The R & D department release a indoor fixed front-maintenance LED video display. The new designed display is mainly used for the window o f the shopping mall, boutiques and other special places with the need of front-maintenance. It solves the problem of installation with limited space and maintenance without back space.http://www.esdled.com

    The products have three specifications, includes P3.91 P5.208 P6.25. using magnetic components and LED display cabinet adsorbed and fixed. So that the front-maintenance module from the LED display cabinet could be taken down easily. Compared with the traditional cabinets, the front-maintenance cabinets could be repaired easily, reduce the damage of the modules and keep the integrity of the module structure.

Eastar’s Future Series, the lightest LED OA screen ever, are officially released! There are six different pitches: P15, P18.75,P25,P30,P37.5,P50 for Future Series. With its ultra thin and light design, the weight of Future Series is only 22KG/m². Compared with the traditional outdoor LED video display with a weight of 60KG/ m², its weight is reduced by 63%, resulting from which the transportation and installation shall be significantly more convenient. Since there is no need for big steel structure, it substantially reduces the requirement for the load-bearing of the building. Meanwhile, the self heat dissipation material ends the air-conditioner age of LED OA screen, saving money and saving power!
