Eastar Being Awarded With Three Honors in 2013 LED Display Top10 Brand Ceremony

On Dec. 24^th, 2013, during the Christmas Eve, the ceremony for 2013 Top10 Brands in LED display industry was hosted by Huicong Net at Qiling Villa in Shenzhen. Nearly 300 people participated in the ceremony, including the experts from the industry association, enterprise leaders, media staff and professional visitors. Marketing Director Mr. Lei Yu attended the ceremony on behalf of Eastar. 

This selection lasted for 5 months and Eastar stood out from the enterprises for being granted with 3 honors “The Best Brand for Investment”“Top10 Brand for Outdoor Advertising and Venue Application” and Mr. Duan Wujie, president of Eastar, was awarded “Top10 Entrepreneur”.

According to the organizing committee, nearly 500 enterprises participated in the selection and total number of voting were over 0.6 million. This selection set up 9 awards, including LED Outdoor Advertising , LED Stage Leasing, Venue Application, Peripheral Device, Encapsulation and Enterprise Overall Strength, Brand Value, Brand Contribution, Person of the Enterprise. The selection experienced 3 stages from mass-election to top30, from top30 to top15 and from top15 to expert review. Besides, types of voting contained Online Network, SMS, E-bank, Offline Express, Fax and Expert Score. Thus, the selection tried hard to achieve comprehensive evaluation and diversified voting.

Meanwhile, this selection also gained great support from China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufacturers Association (COEMA), LED Industry and Application of Alliance and China Lighting Network. As to the vital expert review link, “LED Industry Leading Authority” Wang Dianfu and “China Stage First” Bi Qiliang attended the selection and put forward a lot valuable advice. Mr. Wang Dianfu said that it was far from talking about excess capacity of LED industry. Enterprises would not be eliminated as long as you can provide high-tech and good quality products with certain brand strength.

Esdlumen’s astonishing release conference of ultra clear& small spacing LED series

On Nov. 29th, 2013, all elites of marketing department gathered at the newly decorated exhibition hall to celebrate the release conference of esdlumen’s self-developed products- Micro series small spacing LED display.

Three different models of Micro series- p1.5/p1.923/p2.5 were showed in this conference. Their key features are:http://www.esdled.com/

1. Ultra-high-definition showing effects. The default brightness is under 1000CD which is more suitable for longstanding and up-close watching.
2. Lower power consumption (<80w/cabinet）， power saving and no cooling fan, completely free of noise.
3. Die-casting Aluminum cabinet. The special reinforcement structure perfectly solves the difficulty of small spacing led’s indoor fixed installation.
4. The cabinet perfectly combined with esdlumen’s self-developed control system, greatly eliminated the gap issue.
5. The screen refresh rate is drastically improved by adopting customized IC.
6. Test button and monitoring LCD screen are used for auto fault early warming, avoid any possible mistakes.

After introduction of the basic parameters of Micro series, all staffs coming up to observing the cabinet carefully. Engineer Li from R&D department patiently answered audience’s doubts one by one.

The control system is one of the core technologies in the LED field. The successful research and development of receiving cards and sending cards reflects the strong strength of Eastar. As a national high and new technology enterprise, Eastar has already been authorized patent technology more than 50 items at present, including 11 patents for invention, which cover many aspects of LED display screen and lighting applications.        

The present situation of China LED industry is really grim and less standard, fast development, less quality, well-packaged but lack of core technology. International LED factories are now stepping up its layout and taking up competition highlands. If Chinese enterprises want to break from the competition, they still should seize the opportunity and master the key technology in addition to continue to consolidate the advantage of application layer in the market.

Scotland’s chief minister Alex Salmond gave an interview to Esdlumen

    Scotland’s chief minister Alex Salmond gave an interview to Eastar sales representative Jacky at 15:20pm local time in Glasgow on Oct. 11th, 2013, who is in charge of coordinating the installation of LED display large projects.

With fast development of Scotland in recent years, the advertising industry is developing rapidly, so are more and more large LED outdoor advertising projects.

Thus, the Scottish government attaches great importance to the safety of large LED display screens installed on the high-rise. Plenty of conventional screens weigh 100kg/sqm for the product itself and steel structure, which brings serious potential security risk to the whole city. Besides, the air conditioning (20sqm/p) for the operation of screen causes great pressure to the energy of the city. After the consultation of the Scottish government and parliament, they encourage the advertisers to look for light and energy-efficient outdoor LED advertising display screen.

After the release and trail of Eastar Future Series, the local advertisers found that the weight of the screen is just one fifth of the conventional one, which greatly improves the hidden danger as to the advertising screen installed on the tower and glass curtain wall. In fact, the screen itself can save 30% electricity, which saves nearly 50% with no air conditioning.
